We have updated the Notification options within the Global Email Settings to allow for a maximum number of days for reminder emails for Portal Messaging, Documents, and 5500s.
This option will allow reminder emails to be sent to users with items on their To-Do list for a limited time rather than on an on-going basis. Unlike setting an expiration date on a communication, users with viewing permissions will still have access to the documents after the reminder time frame expires, but they will no longer receive email notifications to view them in the Portal.
This information may be updated by selecting the Wolters Kluwer Logo> Administrative Tasks> Portal Workflow> Global Email Settings and entering your day limit within the ‘Maximum Reminder Days’ dropdown.
Some items to note:
This feature accommodates a maximum day setting of up to 400 days.
If this is set to zero, or if the Maximum Reminder Days is set to less than the value in the Portal User Reminder Days dropdown, the system will continue to send reminders until tasks are completed.
*Please Note: At this time, this is not available for communications sent from the Compliance Portal.
**This only impacts reminder emails sent to Portal Users. Currently the Follow-up emails sent to TPA's will continue to show full lists of outstanding items.
