When working on the first year in the system the software makes assumptions regarding eligibility. If an employee has 1,000+ hours the software will make the assumption they worked 1,000+ hours in each year they've been employed. If this was the first year the employee worked 1,000 hours and should not be eligible a workaround is needed. To do this go to the census and drop the current year hours to 999, this will stop the software from making the assumption. Note, this is assuming a 1,000 hour requirement for eligibility.
