I am receiving a message that the "Portal Username Already Exists." What does this mean?

Portal usernames are stored in a large database, not just your company's database. That means that if you are receiving the message, "Username already exists" it is because another ftwilliam.com customer is using that username. It is recommended that you try adding numbers to the username to make it more unique. For example 'jdoe' could be entered as 'jdoe123'.
