ftwilliam.com allows users to utilize a TIN Masking feature that only the Master User, or Designated Admin users will be able to update. The admin users will see the "TIN Masking" link within the "Print Menu" box on the "Form 1099-R Year" screen. Note: This is a global feature that will update all plans.
The TIN Masking feature is broken into two parts: (1) Payee Copies; and (2) Payer Copies. If either is selected, the SSN would print as ***-**-1234. The Federal, red copies will not be allowed to be masked.
