When the Scrub/Eligibility task is run the vesting service is calculated. If the years of service do not look correct there is an easy way to fix this. Go to the Other Import/Export/Report page and add the ftw Override Vesting Prior YOS grid. In this grid you will set the Override Vest Prior YOS column to Yes and enter the years of service through the last day of the prior plan year in the Vest Prior YOS column. When the Scrub/Eligibility task is run again the software will add an additional year of service if the participant has met the necessary requirements. Note, this override does not follow year to year. Once you've fixed the years of service in the current plan year you shouldn't need to use the override going forward as the software will now have the correct number.
