This functionality allows users to lock or unlock a plan year. There is a green button next to the plan year end date that indicates whether a plan year is locked or unlocked. Clicking the button will change the status.
After you have completed all work for a year, we recommend locking the plan year to help prevent making changes by mistake. Locking the plan year will disable most functions, log the user who locked the plan, but allow all users to see data and access reports.
Unlocking a plan year is just as easy, when changes are necessary. Again, the user will be logged.
