Batch Client Package

Overview

The Batch Client Package feature enables users to efficiently generate client packages for one or multiple plans directly from the Global Dashboard, eliminating the need to process each plan individually. Users can select either global or plan-level client package templates, initiate batch runs (including scheduling them sequentially), and receive an email notification once processing is complete. The generated packages are made available for download in a centralized dashboard location, with access and visibility governed by user permissions and division settings. The output is designed to match the formatting and content of packages produced at the plan level, ensuring consistency while significantly improving productivity and scalability for high-volume workflows.

Accessing the Batch Client Package Feature

  1. Navigate to the Global Dashboard.
  2. Use filters or search options to locate the plan(s) you would like to process.
  3. Select one or multiple plans using the available selection options.
  4. Press the Batch Client Package action from the dashboard tools or action menu.

Generating Client Packages

  1. Select the desired plan(s) from the Global Dashboard.
  2. Initiate the Client Package action.
    • Click “Print Client Package” to generate the package based on reports selected at the Plan-level.
    • Click the down arrow next to “Print Client Package” to generate reports based on one of the Global Client Packages.
  3. The Batch Client Package will process in the background and you will receive an email when complete.

Batch Processing and Scheduling

  • Batch jobs can be configured to run sequentially, allowing multiple client package requests to be processed one after another.
  • This functionality supports efficient handling of high-volume workloads without requiring manual intervention between runs.

Notifications and Output

  • Once processing is complete, an email notification is sent to the user who initiated the batch.
  • The email includes:
    • Confirmation that the batch has completed
    • A list of the plans included in the batch

Downloading Client Packages

  1. Navigate to the Batch Client Package Downloads section of the Global Dashboard.
  2. Locate the completed batch job.
  3. Download the generated client packages.
  • The download list displays up to 20 recent batch outputs and supports scrolling as needed.

Output Format and Consistency

  • Client packages can be generated in Word or PDF format.
  • Output formatting (including portrait or landscape orientation) aligns with the selected package design.
  • Files generated through batch processing are identical in content and formatting to those produced directly at the plan level.

Permissions and Access Control

  • Access to client packages is controlled by user permissions and division settings:
    • Users can only view and generate client packages for plans they have access to.
    • Division-based access restricts visibility accordingly.
    • Permission levels determine capabilities:
      • No permissions: Cannot view or access client packages
      • View-only permissions: Can generate and download packages
      • Edit permissions: Can generate and download packages

  • Use batch processing when working with multiple plans to reduce repetitive tasks.
  • Use batch processing when working with large plans.
  • Monitor email notifications for completion status and quick access to results.
